Villagers have dug graves for the people who were killed in the July 2012 strike
"These news reports of the strike that evening were unsurprisingly conflicting. It was unclear how the attack unfolded. It was unknown how many lives were lost. And it was an open question as to who was targeted that night, who was killed.
Of course, this is typical - the general vagueness that dominates the drone narrative. And it’s emblematic of the striking ambiguity of the that surrounds death and war.
Questions of how and who and why around these strikes most often go unanswered and that’s even if they’re asked in the first place.”
